Issues that affect you

The Christian Peoples Alliance aims to create a society where God is honoured and acknowledged, human relationships are built upon neighbour love and justice is established for all. Our efforts go into securing democratic support for these aims through the electoral system. The following statements are summaries of current CPA policies.

Compassion and Respect for Life

Values for Schools

Putting Marriage First

Work Security and Wage Justice

Stress Free Transport

Secure Communities

Mercy for Newcomers

The Global Common Good

A New Ecology for Living

Our principles

The Christian Peoples Alliance rests all its policies on a statement of Christian Democratic principles called the Mayflower Delaration, which was drafted by the Movement for Christian Democracy in 1991.

Our policies

All our policies are available on this website. They represent policies agreed by the CPA Federal Council since our formation in 2000. Up-to-date comment on current issues may be found in news releases, articles and speeches.
